Executive Board

A well-run chapter is based on organization and effective management. Epsilon Kappa is governed by an executive board that meets weekly to plan the chapter’s agenda, plan chapter events, evaluate projects such as fundraisers, and execute chapter goals.

The president leads Monday night meetings, oversees every activity of the chapter and works closely with the advisory board to ensure success within the chapter. It is her responsibility to ensure that everything is done according to the Governing Documents and Policies of Alpha Chi Omega.

Vice President of Chapter Relations and Standards–Anna Golka

VP CRS enforces and upholds the policies and standards of the chapter by administering positive points for attendance at chapter activities and membership participation. She is also responsible for the annual bylaw review and revisions.

Vice President of Fraternity Relations–Marisa Van Winkle

VP Fraternity Relations is responsible for planning and implementing the chapter’s fraternity education, fundraising, collegiate-alumnae relations, ritual appreciation, and parent’s club programs.

VP Communications strives to develop and maintain clear and concise channels of communication between the different levels of collegiate and alumnae members. She is also responsible for keeping in touch with Alpha Chi Omega headquarters, and informing members of the chapter and community of upcoming events.

VP Education develops and promotes a comprehensive education program for the entire chapter, as well as educating new members of the history and benefits of Alpha Chi Omega.

Vice President of Intellectual Development–Kylie Murray

VP Intellectual Development plans a variety of programs to help maintain chapter academic expectations by providing assistance, such as study hours and tutoring. She also informs members of upcoming scholarship opportunities.

Vice President of Membership Development–Tara Boris

VP Membership Development oversees and plans chapter events, such as formal, exchanges, and senior banquet. She promotes moral, social, cultural, and personal development of members through the organization and execution of a balanced social calendar.

VP Recruitment develops and promotes recruitment activities of the chapter by educating members of Panhellenic policies and our five membership standards.

Vice President Risk Management–Katie McDonough

VP Risk Management ensures that members are educated about minimizing risk and practice safety while at chapter-sponsored events.

Panhellenic Delegate–Erin Walsh

The Panhellenic delegate represents Alpha Chi Omega in the college Panhellenic Association. She promotes chapter involvement in the Association and sister sorority events.

Chairs

While the chapter is governed by the executive board, each executive board member has a committee and smaller offices that help them achieve their duties as a leader in the house. The following are a few offices that represent numerous hours of hard work that make a chapter successful:

Assists VP Membership Development in organizing formals, exchanges, and other social events.

Fundraising Chair–Liz Nol

Assists VP Fraternity Relations by planning fundraising events, such as the yearly golf tournament and the Mr. Alpha Chi pageant, to ensure that the chapter raises money to donate to victims of domestic violence.
